Call for Abstracts

 

The Organising Committee invites you to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations for the Petromass 2022.

 

Deadlines

  • Abstract submission to be considered for oral presentations: September 05, 2022

  • Notification about abstract allocation: September 20, 2022

  • Abstract submission for poster presentations: September 20, 2022

  • Registration fee payment deadline for including the abstract into the final program: October 10, 2022

  • On-site registration October 17, 2022

 

Abstract Submission Rules and Guidelines

The abstracts should be send as Microsoft Word file (format *.doc). The text should not exceed 1 page of A4 format, including pictures (margins: left -3 cm, right – 2 cm, top and bottom – 2 cm).

Abstracts structure

Title The abstracts title should not exceed 200 characters, including spaces. Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold should be used for the title.

Authors Initials, full surname (example I. V. Smith). If authors are from the different organizations use the number as superscript after the surnames which should correspond to the organization. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. The name of the corresponding author should be marked with *.  Times New Roman, 14 pt. should be used for the text formatting.

Organization The participant should provide full organization or institute name, postal address (street, the house number, postcode and country). If there are several authors from different organizations each organization name and postal address should be provided with the new line with superscript number at the beginning. The corresponding author provides e-mail address after the organization address. Times New Roman, 12 pt. should be used for the text formatting.

Abstract The abstract should not exceed 400 words (about 2000 characters). All pictures, diagrams, tables should be included into the text. Times New Roman, 12 pt. should be used for the text formatting.

References should be numbered with Arabic numerals in square brackets in accordance with enumeration. The references should contain initials, all authors’ surnames and journal catch-up title (in accordance with Chemical Abstract system).

The abstracts submitted not in accordance with the rules will not be accepted.

When you are booking accomodation we strongly recommend that you book at Agapi Beach Resort hotel, as this is where the conference will take place.

However you can stay at a different hotel if you find it more convenient for you.

Accommodation

 

The accommodation of PETROMASS 22 participants is available in the Agapi Beach Resort Premium All-Inclusive hotel. The following rates are negotiated for the participants with the hotel administration:

Double room for single use – 80 Euro/night

Double room for double use – 100 Euro/night

Double room Sea View for single use – 92 Euro/night

Double room Sea View for double use – 115 Euro/night

To get these rates while booking one should mention that he/she is going to participate in the PETROMASS 2022 Conference

 

Participants of the conference who wish to book a room for the conference period in October can just send an email message to the following address of the reservations department:

Participants have just to make a notice on their message that they wish to book a room for the PETROMASS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2022, inform about the concrete dates of their stay, the room type they wish and how many persons they are. The hotel will automatically offer them the rates mentioned above.

 

In those rates the new overnight tax of € 3,00 per room per day is not included and is also to be paid during their stay. For a guaranteed booking the full prepayment needs to be done either upon confirmation or latest till 16.10.2022

The venue of the Conference (Hotel Agapi Beach Resort) situates 12 km from the Heraklion International airport. The hotel may be reached by bus (0.5 Euro) or taxi (12 Euro).
